Getting to Zurich Sustainably

Travel by Train

Zurich is easily accessible by train from many European cities. The Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) offers frequent and reliable connections to Zurich Central Station. For environmentally friendly travel, we strongly encourage participants to travel by train whenever possible, especially for journeys of eight hours or less.

Visit the external page SBB website for more information.

Travel by plane

external page Zurich Airport is well-connected to major international hubs and offers a seamless connection to the city center via public transportation. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we kindly ask attendees to book air travel only when necessary (e.g., if the journey exceeds 8 hours by train or coach).

In such cases, we recommend booking Economy Class with an airline that ranks favourably on recognized sustainability indices (e.g., external page Atmosfair Airline Index).

Public Transportation in Zurich

All registered participants will receive a ZVV public transport ticket valid from June 25 to 27, granting unlimited access to Zurich’s city zone (Zone 110). The ticket will be printed on the back of your conference badge and distributed at the registration desk.
